Q. Why does Tropic SCUBA only offer NAUI certification?

A. As the oldest – and the only non-profit – dive certification organization, NAUI (National Association of Underwater Instructors) is the gold standard in SCUBA instruction. NAUI’s emphasis is on developing safe and proficient divers through intensive training, and NAUI instructors have no limits on how in-depth they can go.  That’s why most professional organizations that depend on highly skilled divers, such as those involved in public safety, use NAUI for certification.
